जिला उपभोक्ता फोरम (District Consumer Forum) में समय से मनीऑर्डर न भेजने पर डाक विभाग पर 2हजार रुपए का जुर्माना ठोंका। दरअसल चंद्रपाल सिंह निवासी जेल रोड स्वराज कॉलोनी के नाम से लखन लाल पटेल समाकथा जिला राजकोट गुजरात ने 500 रुपए का मनी ऑर्डर 1 मई 2015 को भेजा था परंतु डाक विभाग ने यह मनी आर्डर समय से प्राप्त नहीं कराया। वादी की ओर से चंद्रपाल सिंह ने मुकदमा दायर किया मुकदमा दायर होते ही डाक विभाग द्वारा 500 का मनी ऑर्डर उपभोक्ता को 12 जनवरी 2016 में प्राप्त करा दिया,लेकिन देरी का कारण नहीं बताया। जिस पर फोरम ने डाक विभाग पर दो हजार का जुर्माना ठोंका |
A fine of Rs. 2, 000 was imposed on the postal department for not sending money orders in time in the District Consumer Forum. In fact, in the name of Chandpal Singh resident Jail Road Swaraj Colony, Lakhhan Lal Patel Samkatha District Rajkot Gujarat sent a money order of Rs. 500 on 1st May 2015 but the postal department did not get this money order in time. On behalf of the plaintiff, Chandpal Singh filed a case as soon as the case was filed, the Department of Posts (India Post) received a money order of 500 to the consumer on 12th January 2016 but did not tell the reason for the delay.
