How To Resolve Consumer Complaint Against Insurance Company

Insurance is a protection of financial and asset loss. Every people in the world want to secure their future with Insurance companies. They choose the best insurance plan for future protection of their things, family, and life. Many Insurance companies providing this facility to customers and promise to take the liability of losses. Most of the time few companies unable to fulfill their promises at the time. When a consumer asks for the claim then they reject and use the false statement to protect themselves. These companies just want to earn more from consumer pocket. If you face such problem and become a victim of consumer company then file a complaint against Insurance company to resolve your consumer complaints quickly.    


How you can file a complaint


You are facing a problem with Insurance company then you need to approach IRDA where you can get all information about Insurance companies and you can also find an email Id for the company. Using these email ids you can contact the company to inform your dispute to the head of the department and hopefully, your grievance will resolve as soon as possible.

In case if it is not resolved within 15 days or if you are unsatisfied with their resolution you can:
Approach the Grievance Redressal Cell of the Consumer Affairs Department of IRDAI:
Call Toll-Free Number 155255 (or) 1800 4254 732 or
Send an e-mail to complaints@irda.gov.in
Make use of IRDAI's online portal - Integrated Grievance Management System (IGMS):
Register and monitor your complaint at igms.irda.gov.in


You can also choose online consumer complaint forum like Voxya to resolve your consumer grievance against the Insurance company.
